A new Azealia Banks interview was just released yesterday and it pretty much covers a lot of the Cardi B, Skai Jackson and 'Coco' controversy. Its been a long time since shes had such an in depth interview and I really feel like you all should check it out.

I'd say lets keep this thread civil as possible but because its AB I'm expecting the replies to get messy af. 

 

 

OT: I honestly feel like she speaks a lot of sense, and while she has done a few problematic things she doesnt deserve a fraction of the hate she recieves. Her music is out of this world too.

I genuinely dislike how this woman is still getting attention after everything. She served some good music with her debut, but she's genuinely a horrible person and deserves no spotlight, some of the things she's said shouldn't be said by anybody

It's kinda sad to see how her career go down the drain because of all the beef she's caused inside the industry.

She would've been so huge because we all know she's a talented rapper and writer.

LOL i find it funny how the media and people treat AB as if she's a serial killer, as if she's actually done terrible things to people besides calling them offensive slurs and go on extenuating twitter rants. i honestly feel so sorry for her, bipolar disorder truly is a self-destructive illness, and i think being a black public person makes it 300 times worse. most of her fanbase consisted of white gay men, and after she called perez hilton the F word they all abandoned her as if what she had done was unforgivable and the worst thing a human being could ever do, meanwhile her twitter mentions were constantly filled with white gay boys calling her a b*tch and the n word. double standards much?

i don't agree with everything she says and she's definitely said some very problematic stuff, but i truly think she's very smart and incredibly talented, and the media has already given her so much sh*t over the years. i root for her success.

and if you don't like her just leave her be. the world is already filled with too much negative energy. saying she doesn't deserve your respect won't change anything at all besides make you look bitter.

I mean, she was banned from twitter because of her behavior, her music videos are full of dislikes on youtube, most people floods her instagram with hateful comments, and she's struggling to get bookings. Do you want her to be burnt at a stake?

Meanwhile at the same time, 50+ million people agreed with the point of view of a misogynist, racist and truly horrible person that made just about as hateful remarks, if not more, towards basically all minorities, and made him the most powerful man in the world.
