The 29-year-old musician revealed Friday that they’re transitioning from male to female. " Okay… because u asked nicely… I am transitioning,” Geiger responded on Instagram to a fan who asked why they look different recently. “I started talking about it with a couple of my close friends and family about a month ago and it’s given me the courage to start the process. I feel like the next step is to tell all y’all. So here goes. Love it or hate this is who i have been for a looooong time. I love u guys. Talk sooooon byeeee.” Geiger, best known for the 2006 single “For You I Will (Confidence),” has focused more on songwriting recently, penning hits for One Direction and Shawn Mendes, including Top 10 hits "Stitches," "Treat You Better" and "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back."
