CoolTrainerTerry 1,323
It feels like she has been around for a lot longer than she has because of all of these albums. There has to be some kind of burnout.
heavymlover 340
So, do you think Katy Perry's brother is going somewhere in the industry? I think his first single is fine, but I'm sure he'll be beneath Katy's shadow for a while.
Arturo 40,746
Eventually people have to get tired of seeing and hearing her all over the place. I'm curious to see how her next album sells or if this is just pushing people to buy the 1-2 singles that they like. It's probably going to sell poorly but I'm sure her singles will be big if she's working with RedOne Cheers isn't even a year old, she's still fresh out of Loud era. It's only been 11 months since Cheer omg :toofloppy: She needs a break So, do you think Katy Perry's brother is going somewhere in the industry? VFD 57
Another Rihanna album? Her last mess of an era made me think she was having a break. Guess not. Good for the fans I guess...
Nagini 179
I would like for Katy to get that #1 just to spite some of the very negative people on here. Why can't someone with a good song like Wide Awake reach #1? It's more worthy of that title than any of the songs in the top 10. Yeah. At first I didn't really want her getting ANOTHER #1 but to be honest, she didn't use any cheap tactics this time. I've come to grown a liking for the song actually. It feels so edited but it's an okay song. Wide Awake > CMM, Payphone. Such cheesy lyrics.. Eventually people have to get tired of seeing and hearing her all over the place. I'm curious to see how her next album sells or if this is just pushing people to buy the 1-2 singles that they like. Most of her albums flop. She's just here for hit singles. Ozzy8923 9
Adele's reign has pretty much ended. Good run though. Just good?! C'mon we all know that selling 9.5 million copies in the United States after the emergence of digital music is FAR from just good. It's ****ing amazing. And I wouldn't rule Adele out yet, apparently their going to be releasing Turning Tables soon. It's a very strong single, too.
PlasticHo 698
I have some interesting news. Katy Perry's song from her sophomore album Teenage Dream titled Peacock has been officially certified Gold. http://www.riaa.com/...chable-database Search: KATY PERRY. It will show up. The interesting thing about this is that it never was released as a single and has sold the same amount as the last single from Born This Way without even having any considerable amount of radio airplay or a music video. This is torture. Have you seen this? I think it got it some publicity :)

Ozzy8923 9
Speaking of Rihanna, I don't think Talk that Talk (the album) performed as badly as some people are making it out to be. It went platinum in the US and sold a solid 3.2 million copies WW in a very unstable market. I mean coming off from an era as successful as Loud, Talk that Talk pales in comparison but in GENERAL it did well. Managed to score 2 top 5 singles one of them going quadruple platinum and the other one going platinum and soon enough double platinum. And another top 20 song that also went platinum. And the 3 music videos she released were good. Pretty descent era if you ask me. Her label confirmed there will be no more singles from 21 Guess all the other girls better start making room for Gaga. She's coming HARD. :worship2:
PlasticHo 698
I love their videos! Yeah, they are good. On a side note, look up cazwell ice cream truck on youtube if you haven't seen it :) Not for talent purposes, but for enjoyment.. unless you're a straight male. Then, I don't think you'd like it.
