Cherry 17
"Blow Me" is climbing up the top ten at a very fast rate. It looks like it may be able to team up with Carly and Maroon 5 to keep Katy from #1.
Americano 31,061
If P!nk goes #1 on iTunes today, then yeah, Katy has no chance
Klou 2,414
P!nk still has a lot of growing in AI to do to compete for #1 on Hot 100. Don't get too excited yet.
Cherry 17
That Demi Lovato song is showing surprising longevity, I think it will be the "Love You Like a Love Song" of 2012

Klou 2,414
Now that it's top 10 on iTunes radio will begin to play it a LOT more Yeah, but it will take a few weeks to get over 100 AI. Katy may be able to slip in a #1 before P!nk does because she's much closer to it.

Ozzy8923 9
You guys are pressed about this song reaching #1 when this is the ONE song she has released that actually has meaning (minus Firework) and that she has gotten to #1 on itunes without a discount or a remix. As far as I'm concerned, she deserves it. Why not end such a well-planned era on a high note? Gaga's team (and the team of all the other pop girls) should take notes. - Single releases were well-timed. - They had proper videos that are all exceptional and well-directed. - Each song, or most of the songs, released had a considerable amount of promotion done. And now, they released a single at the same time that Katy Perry: Part of Me was being released, and now she is gaining audience impressions at a consistent rate, has topped itunes with the song, and her album has shown an impressive amount of longevity in this rather unstable music market and is set to enter the Top 5 of the BB200 next week. Now she's going to have a top 5 single and a top 5 album. Congrats, Katy. Well done.
Cherry 17
The only problem with BTW era was timing. All of the videos were good and promotion was on point. And no shade, but considering Katy's bestselling album still has yet to outsell Gaga's worstselling album, I think Gaga's fine not taking notes from Katy's team Edited July 10, 2012 by Cherry
