Make your Grammy prediction (be realistic)

Be realistic, it means don't just vote for your favourite albums. Because if that's the case I'm sure Grammy locks like Kendrick Lamar or Ed Sheeran won't be on your lists, since you guys have a tendency to ignore male artists. They are Grammy favourites and you have to acknowledge them.

Album of the Year

Kendrick Lamar - DAMN.
Ed Sheeran - Divide
The Weeknd - Starboy
Lady Gaga - Joanne
(one rock/indie act)

Song of the Year

Ed Sheeran - Shape of You
Lady Gaga - Million Reasons
Kendrick Lamar - Humble
Bruno Mars - That's What I Like
Kesha - Praying

Record of the Year

Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee & Justin Bieber - Despacito
Kendrick Lamar - Humble
Bruno Mars - 24k Magic
Ed Sheeran - Shape of You
Taylor Swift - Look What You Made Me Do
(possibly: Lady Gaga - Million Reasons)

Best Pop Duo/Group Performance

Katy Perry - Swish Swish ft. Nicki Minaj
Calvin Harris - Feels, ft. Pharell Williams, Katy Perry & Big Sean
DJ Khaled - Wild Thoughts ft. Rihanna, Bryson Tiller
Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee & Justin Bieber - Despacito
The Weeknd - I Feel It Coming ft. Daft Punk
(possibly Chained to the Rhythm instead of Swish Swish)

Best Pop Solo Performance

Lady Gaga - Million Reasons
Ed Sheeran - Shape of You
Kesha - Praying
Demi Lovato - Sorry Not Sorry
Sam Smith - Too Good at Goodbyes

Best Pop Vocal Album

Kesha - Rainbow
Lorde - Melodrama
Lady Gaga - Joanne
Ed Sheeran - Divide
Katy Perry - Witness

Bruno Mars submitted under R&B, Kendrick Lamar submitted under Rap/Urban.

That's why under pop, only Ed Sheeran will be competing (realistically) as a male artist.

With some luck (if Gaga gets nominated for Album of the Year), Gaga might get 5 nominations this year.

BOOKMARK ME HENNIES :classy:

in before she drops the trailer of A Star Is Born and lead single within the same week.

trailers usually come out 3 months before the movie release and Grammy week is approximately three months before A Star Is Born is released.

This Grammy will be all about Gaga. The Recording Academy loves her and they want they credibility back, so they will give her at least two awards because she'll be the most talented and influential singer nominated.

That's gonna be Kendrick. They wanna lose the image of Snake winning over Kendrick in 2016 and Adele winning over Bey in 2017. Gaga is gonna get a SOTY nod and MAYBE a win. That's probably gonna be her only general category nom.
