Trump EPA erases Climate Change from a Climate Website

WASHINGTON — The Environmental Protection Agency has removed dozens of online resources dedicated to helping local governments address climate change, part of an apparent effort by the agency to play down the threat of global warming.

A new analysis made public on Friday found that an E.P.A. website has been scrubbed of scores of links to materials to help local officials prepare for a world of rising temperatures and more severe storms.

The site, previously the E.P.A.’s “Climate and Energy Resources for State, Local and Tribal Governments” has been renamed “Energy Resources for State, Local and Tribal Governments.” About 15 mentions of the words “climate change” have been removed from the main page alone, the study found.

Among the now-missing pages are those detailing the risks of climate change and the different approaches states are taking to curb emissions. Also edited out were examples of statewide plans to adapt to weather extremes.

we're still in the stone age. trump builds skyscrapers even higher density than the medieval towns. well many people anyway. they like to claim there has been advancement but the health statistics say otherwise. only better compared to the abysmal industrial era and then only in the west. probably there is more kids  down mine shafts and in factories than ever before and people are particularly severely degenerating with the decreasing quality of food. just 3.1% of all agricultural land is used for permanent crops such as fruit trees and vineyards. the back to the stone age line is a tired cliche, history rewritten to justify 'progress' aka more destruction and exploitation. the old technique farmers would use to heard animals by giving them only one way forward.

Thanks for answering. I do not do much research on climate change so I was really asking. I am currently writing an essay on car manufacturers switching to all-electric vehicles, or hybrid/efficient gasoline engines. Some of them have plans to go all-electric by 2020. They have even introduced successful all-electric vehicles that can go up to 250 miles before needing a charge. I think that is amazing.

if they charge them with nuclear power it could be alot worse than petrol. cars are only a very small producer of co2 compared to agriculture and yet to run cars on renewables is a stretch. your talking alot of power when people could live without needing to drive to walmart to buy in anycase poor quality food.. food is by far the more important energy. it is silly to even talk about electricity or cars till food is sorted if your wanting to get things right. agriculture is poorly using nearly half of the entire land surface of the planet and degrading the soils which are not easy to replace. degraded soil leads to nutrient deficiencies and disease and eventually starvation.
