all of that:giveup:

this song had potential, too bad she wasn't ready yet

I'll never understand why she didn't do any promo performances. If she wasn't ready for a VMAs comeback, she could've at least done Ellen and Kimmel.

The album was bad, though, Britney didn't even sang some of the songs on it, it deserved to flop. Thank God, people havn't heared songs like Chillin With You and 2/3 of the album.

On the other hand, Work Bitch deserved better, she should've promoted it more/debuted it at the VMA's and it would have been a smash hit, not that it wasn't a hit, but it could've been x5 bigger.

Not sure but it should have titled Myah than Britney Jean tho. It is OK album except that one song with her sister. I believe she is still not forgiven for ruining many childhood by leaving Zoey 101 prematurely :giggle:

It could have been but there's too much working against it for it to truly shine.

The ghost-singing of Myah Marie dubbing as Britney. It's very obvious in tracks like "Body Ache" two voices switching back and forth and for such a personal album, to autopilot and contribute so little is appalling and insult. I get it, Britney didn't have much say so over her material, her image, etc but to not want to finish vocals, rushing the record and having someone else sing for you to complete a track posing to be you, no.

No promotion. She squandered any chance of promotion she could have had. Work Bitch hit decently on the charts with no fanfare or big performance until December of 2013 long after it died. The video was praised from what I remember. She was in better shape, her personality was coming back and sure she wasn't as fluid as her 2016 performing skills but surely a performance on GMA or even a slot on the VMA's would have helped restore her brand rather than leading her down this nostalgia act/soccer mom image she kept giving off in interviews.

Perfume video being scrapped. Each time a video matters to Britney and team she ends up scrapping it. It may have not made the song a hit but buzz over an assassin plot would have probably given the era a bit more life.

Alien. She apparently wanted it as a single and minus the glitch would have been a good "personal" track but never came to fruition. It also didn't help the "personal" moniker never went further than a few tracks. If it wasn't a mismash of Will.I.Am rejects or Sia leftovers, the album would have been better but this is the best definition of a rush job.

Glory felt more like a personal record and even that record was put to waste over Vegas.

Britney is still in the Piece Of Me era(2013-7). Everything she's done since 2013 is about Vegas and the residency, 2/3 of Glory's promo was about "Piece of Me" and her being a nostalgia act. I'm so pissed at how unproffesional and dumb her team is. Work Bitch, Make Me and Slumber Party could've been so much bigger if they did the right things, I hate Vegas, RCA and Team B for ruining Britney's career and turning her into a legacy act, while she could be slaying the charts!!

Hmmmm, it's not a britney album but a myah marie's album so it's a very  good numbers for an unknown like her. :gaycat:

Why would she promote it if she didn't even sing on it :laughga:

And honestly, the music was not thaaaat bad (for Britney's albums standards)

Yes, to think she didn't give one single TV performance throughout the whole era makes me sick. I still remember that infamous desert thing.

Did you just dragged the best pop discography out there? Blackout, ITZ, Britney, Circus and OIDIA(also Glory) are better than careers out there.

Spoiler

I usualy dont like comparing(a lot), but Oops ratings(72/100) are higher than any of Gaga's albums(the highest rated album of hers has 71/100), so Britney's album standards are pretty high, imo.

Girl, come on. You know Britney's music is just "fun" pop music. They're never trying to write quality sh*t. They just want hot singles and fillers.

I do like Blackout and it's one of my favorite pop albums ever, but for people to call BJ trash when basically all of her other albums (with the exception of Blackout and ITZ) sound the same... :awkney:

EDIT: Also those comparison don't really counter my argument. I'm saying there are different standards for Britney's music. People don't expect much from her but expect a lot more from Gaga. And if you really wanna compare, Gaga's 6 grammys say hi Britney's 1

And you know that she always serves top notch pop albums and is not just throwing some random music out there(except whith BJ, which is nad, rushed, generic and basic af). Saying all her albums sound the same is dellusional, BOMT and OIDIA are bubblegum-pop, Britney is R&B/Pop, ITZ is Dance/Urban, Blackout is Electro-Pop/Dance/Urban, Circus is Dance-Pop, Femme Fatale is Dubstep/Dance, Britney Jean is EDM and Glory is Regeaton/Dance/Pop. Saying all her albums sound the same is as ridiculouse as saying ARTPOP and BTW sound the same and only shows that you've never listened to more than 2-3 songs from each of Britney's albums(probably only the singles).

Cause the rest weren't good :awkney:
