Kicking paying customers out of your shop is not the way to go about this. If they were passing those flyers while in the shop, I would understand the owners frustration a bit more. It does leave me wondering if they taunted him somehow or perhaps knew he would react this way and purposefully left one of the flyers in plain sight for him to pick up. There are many hateful Christians, but this is some crazy one sided religion bashing. I just hope you have the same disdain towards other religions as well.. Christianity gets so much hate, but then I usually see liberals siding with Islam. It's just weird. Who's to say the user you're quoting isn't disgusted by all of those acts too? coekane 5,921 Posted October 9, 2017 Share Posted October 9, 2017 I’m gonna state now, I love the LGBT+ community, and being Christian at the same time, it makes me stand out in a part of the religion where I can openly accept people of different sexualities and opinions. You guys have every right to be you. But wait... You guys are making this a mess. I’m gonna try to make views of both sides of the argument so bare with me. Both communities, LGBT+ and Christians, are fine, but most of the time sure, they disagree. As I stated before; I love both communities as a Christian, I even believe against half of what the Bible says because it was written in a time where you know, being that way wasn’t “normal” in peoples eyes. But people are hating on Christians and generalizing all of them to be evil and wicked. Sure yes, they were protestors, but we were given right of free speech, and if you all can have a protest about who gets elected and smash open windows in masses, and this was just a grain of sand in a bucket. The owner had the right to express his thoughts and say something more calmly like, “Um hey, I’m the owner of this café, and I’m not gonna approve of this in here. We welcome all groups of people and opinions, but this is a warning to stop, or you might be kicked.” And if they kept on, then I would believe it would be right to kick them out. Which the owner should make it clear on what actually happened and we can go on from there. And the LGBT+ has put up with torture for years sure, and they deserve to be accepted. As I will stated earlier, free speech. It works both sides to anyone. Yes they had to right to be served, and although yes there is some loopholes, it can fall either way, because who can say? You guys are jumping off random conclusions to try to force an opinion. (Ah yes, the wonderful debates, at least these are more entertaining than the election. Keep doing you guys ) In all honesty, I’m trying to look at it from both sides, and the footage we went off of isn’t telling the full story, because we need more evidence to make a concrete statement. Spoiler I actually was scared to post my feelings lol. But then I know some people might agree with me... And then I’m ready for those beautiful black background reactions of “Excuse Me No” which is totally fine. We don’t have to agree on everything here! We’ll just move on again to something fresh, and leave our differences in the past because truly, we are one big family of Little Monsters! I was gonna say kicking people out for what they believe is just as bad as what they do to us. In my eyes, we should be the bigger person, arguing back doesnt solve anything.
