TBH I think the male-driven society rarely wants to see strong, tough women be successful and on top. The pop queens were mostly “sexy” and unthreatening. 

Even Gaga and Beyoncé played the part until they were successful enough to show their true strength and toughness. 

Just my opinion tho.

She is. The song is credited to both her and A Great Big World, both as co-lead artists. The single version is not "featuring Christina Aguilera."

I didn't mean to make it sound like I was coming for Britney. I'm not saying one is more iconic than the other, I'm simply making the point that it's unfair to say Christina is floundering when it's clear her legacy is still continuing as the music industry makes the shift to streaming.

Pink is talented, but not being the IT girl helped her get where she is now, for sure. Britney was realy big for a long period of time, but her immage is realy controversial and daamaged and she clearly doesn't want to be successful and in the spotlight any more, she's had enough fame for the rest of her life. Xtina, idk about her, but I feel her ego is damaged by all the flops she had with her most recent releases and is scared to release anything + her attitude is bad and she is kinda unlikable, yeah. Pink has nothing special to offer and recently is kinda generic, but she deserves to be successful and happy, she is talented and a great persson.

The same as we consider "Scream & Shout" a co-lead for Britney (it's credited to her and will.i.am, not to will.i.am with a Britney feature), this one is credited to Xtina and A Great Big World as collaborators, not one featuring the other. 

And we have no idea how Xtina's next single will fare. I think she missed the sweet spot and failed to capitalize on her resurged relevance on radio (during 2013-2014 when "Feel This Moment" and "Say Something" were hits) by waiting this long for an album, and as we've seen, no one is really infallible when it comes to flopping after taking a break (Fergie, Nelly Furtado are recent examples).

But Britney is featured on Scream&Shout, though. Anyways, I think that at this point Xtina is scared to release anything, she's always been realy proud and took herself realy seriously and after Bionic and Lotus flopped her ego got hurt and she is afraid of releasing another flop. Imo, she is also cluless what to release. She is recording this album since 2013 and so many trends came and went since than, X6 would probably be outdated af and won't catch-up with radio and trends(like Fergie's new album, I'm sorry to say it, but it's realy, realy outdated), so I also think her next era(if it ever begins) would at least underperform a lot. Xtina lost her passion for music and most of her fans, she realy needs a miracle to be successful again.

BJ is bad, it's worse than Bionic, yeah, but Bionic is no Grammy material as well. At the end of te day though, Britney is not guilty for being more relevant than Xtina.
