Last month Canada added 112,000 full-time jobs the 2nd largest largest single month gain in history

To put it into perpective, in population proportion that is like the US adding 1 Million full-time jobs in a single month (with 9X the population)

However part-time jobs were down so over-all the net gain was only 10,000 jobs lower than the 50,000 gain some months this year but over-all it is still a very strong report

The Above OT comment has been run through the Fox News Filter. Here is the network’s interpretation using the patented “Sean Hannity Response Generator”:

“Canada has stolen hard-working Americans’ jobs by enticing them with their *insert Canadadian stereotype*. We must also now build a northern wall to save all our jobs from moving to Canada. Could there be collusion between Rocket Man, Mexico, and Canada to undermine the Trump Organization and American Economy in terms of job growth? Sources at Breitbart are telling us that it is likely.

In other breaking news, Czar Trump has put America first again by calling out Clinton’s new tell-all book. 140 characters of greatness? That’s just the norm for our beloved leader.”

You forgot the part about Megyn Kelly's inevitable rant in the next 12 hrs (even after her whole "The truth is I am kind of done with politics for now" BS).

Isn't unemployment pretty low already? :emma: I still think Canada will bust at some point, much harder than any other economy. The next Ireland? :emma: Anyways - I guess this is good for now. But isn't the deficit pretty big too? :emma:

Also wondering, maybe you know more about this, but how are the different provinces' public debts doing? Weren't they pretty large? :emma:

Unemployment is 6.2% (5% if measured using the US methology which likes to exclude certain things :rip:)

And Which deficit? Trade Deficit or Federal deficit?

This years deficit is projected to be $17 Billion ($5 Billion less than first thought)... so thats less than 1% of GDP. With the explosive GDP growth weve had our debt to GDP ratio of 29% should actually drop so deficit not an issue!

The trade deficit is another story. Our Country is still buying way more stuff than selling and thats problematic. Weve had this problem since 2008/2009 and its the source of debt accumulation at the private level. Manufacturing did improve recently but not enough to offset Oil Prices falling in half :air:

but yeah a bust is possible. Consumer debt is extremely high and weve raised rates twice this year which consumers will have to deal with

The higher median household income of $70,000 a year now tho may help consumers manage higher interest... I hope :awkney:

then australian housing market will collapse then, or even USAs one. However its true that it seems that the supply and demand rate of housing in big cities will grow forever, since population grows and land decreases (Only if we have a massive population decrease it will truly burst). But corrections will happen, and the greater it is, the greater the correction will be  . Maybe debt bubble too.... Or even dotcom 2.0 (crypto) which is being created right now.

There are so much thing to collapse. OFC it wont happen tomorrow. But the future doesn't seem to be very brigh imo. Sooner or later economy will have to reset. :D

And ofc, if one of the mentiones bubbles collapses it will burst every bubble there is out there . Similar to what happened with lehman brothers. Leverage has to be somehow covered :S

Well we will have to see. We put in many measures to shut down demand from unqualified buyers and hardened down on downpayment requirements plus we lowered max amortization time spans

Now we added forein investors tax on the 2 largest cities at 15% to cool demand

We got a drop and then after that we got 2 rate hikes this year

The housing market is cooling but not collpasing so far and despite cooling market our economy grew over 4% in last year one of the fastest in developed world :poot:  For the rest of the year they are looking at 3% growth for 2017 as a whole if u start from January

Consumer debt is at 167% of income tho and the USA peaked at 134% by comparison in 2007 so this aint good :emma:

But at least incomes and employment is rising which if were lucky could offset deleveraging by consumers as interest rates go up 👀
