I can't stand titty but let's not pretend that Teenage Dream doesn't have a collection of some of the catchiest songs ever.

The fire-filled choruses of Gaga songs are very comparable to those found on all eight of ABBA's albums. I've always thought that.

It makes sense why he would mention Katy as well, as her Teenage Dream album had some of the same types of hooks as well.  I'm assuming he meant before Witness (Not bashing Witness, but it lacks a lot of the strong hooks found on TD).

Where did this info come from?

Also she wouldnt not put herself first if she was the main writter

RedOne said to add the "oh's" to Bad Romance and Gaga credited him as a writer

CTTR is trash but it's an unpopular opinion so it doesn't count :giggle:

I’m sure it was RedOne who said Bad Romance was literally all her writing wise, but he made one small suggestion about moving the “Ohhhhhhh” harmonies and she added him to the writers list because he’d changed the song.

She seems to be a very generous and considerate collaborator.

Now imagine a disco song by Gaga written by ABBA's writers, with Nile Rodgers doing the music and Giorgio Moroder producing it :staymad:

Yeah RedOne exposed this once, I think he also mentioned that some other producers wouldn't admit that she's writing almost everything

Witness is her best album.

People are trashing it 'cause it had moderate success, but it's a good record.

I mean...opinions are opinions, and I don’t really think it’s that great. Giving a 6 would be being nice imo.

Teenage Dream is the definition of what pop music should be.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

Understandable. I am with him. He should have included Lana Del Rey instead of Katy Perry though.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

Wow this is really a big honour for Gaga and us, Benny is a LEGEND and he wrote some of the best pop songs in the history of music. I'm so happy he appreciates Gaga and her talent. :giggle:

Glad to see my favourite band praising one of my favourite solo artists. Bjorn (the other man) praised Poker Face back in 2013 I believe too.

Love to see her getting praise from one of the most successful acts of all time - talent does win!.

P.S. re Katy: let's not pretend that she hasn't produced some of the catchiest songs of the last decade, with infectious melodies and choruses. You can't deny that no matter your personal opinion of her.
