WildAmerican 13,672
Here's what they should submit, and what is likely to be submitted for Gaga for the Grammy's this year, 'Joanne' Album of the Year Best Pop Vocal Album "Million Reasons" Song of the Year Record of the Year Best Pop Solo Performance Best Arrangement, Instrumental and Vocals Best Music Video () "The Cure" Best Pop Solo Performance Record of the Year 'Gaga: Five Foot Two' Best Music Film Lady Gaga: Producer of the Year, Non-Classical Likely nominations are underlined. I think they should submit The Cure for those two, but not SOTY, since she is likely to be nom'd in SOTY, we don't wanna split the vote. Thoughts? ArtGagaPop 61,940
Hoping for her to win these 3 Best Pop Vocal Album Song of the Year Best Pop Solo Performance The pop only ones are very good chances. Although 1 would be enough, but Joanne really deserves a grammy. Still sad BTW/you and i didn't win anything back in 2012
WildAmerican 13,672
The only one I could see a win in is Best Music Film and maybe Pop Solo, but Ed Shitran and Kendrick are gonna cockblock us everywhere else.

Why are people so sure about Kendrick winning over Gaga for AOTY? I used to love Kendrick but after 3 times trying to like the album I was gone tbh. Also, do they take in account only US public and success? (idk how is it that they vote) Because Gaga would win in a sec in South America. I mean, I don't think most people even know Kendrick or Ed's work after "Thinking out loud"

It's about Popularity, not quality. Gaga won't be nom'd for AOTY tho...

Where were you this year hun, Shape Of You is the second biggest hit of the year And even if Kendrick doesn't win AOTY, trust me, Gaga is not the second choice, we should be happy even if she get a nom in that category
Swine 504
Not trying to jinx it or anything, but she will get 0 Grammys. Joannes impact was very little.

I know Kendrick and Ed are a lot more popular than Gaga now in the US. That's not the case for all the world though. I only thought Grammy's took in account a wider audience. HiddenWeirdo 4,277
then why do we even care if we ultimately think that it's based on success?

Also, I was talking about Kendrick album's quality. I don't even know why it was so successful there. PS: But tbh if the awards are really biased that much by popularity, it's not even worth it.
