All of of those are mildly-famous and don't have a true iconic moment/ reference that public associated them. So none.

Wrecking Ball music video is a true iconic moment/ reference that the GP associates with her.

The ones who voted for Ariana Grande are truly delusional. :selena:

I'm sure we can pull up the equivalent phases of other pop stars. She's spread the positivity that a lot of celebrities haven't. Younger Now is one of the most pure albums albums I've heard in a long time, and I said the same about Rainbow by Kesha.

Lana Del Rey.

She bursted onto the scene like Gaga did, the difference being in the fact that Lana chose less agressive promotion and tried to market herself as an Internet artist. She chose Internet clicks over radio plays. Lana overshadows Adele in the way that she has the connection with the younger generation, while Adele's demographic is hard to define. Lana has musical, thematic and stylish cohesiveness, her spotify and youtube numbers are crazy and she is global. People may not like her but denying her impact on the pop culture has no point, for she's representing the other side of the digital and SM culture.

This might be true because she had that controversial phase, but on the other hand I don't think people memorized her based on her last album performance so no long-run influence. :sure: And the others are indeed all forgettable. :awkney:

Only person I like from that list is Lorde :selena: The rest annoy me :poot:

My personal fave and icon is Adele, but she isn't a performer. She's a singer/vocalist and doesn't dance. I don't know if I can say that she impacted culture. She's definitely huge and has lots of achievements under her belt though.

I think Adele definitely impacted culture with Hello.

I would vote for Ariana in the poll followed by The Weeknd.

I'd argue Rihanna has forged a huge iconic legacy since Gaga's peak though. She really did cement herself as an iconic musician from 2010 onwards with Loud, TTT, and all the hits she's rolled out both herself and as a featured artist since.

Lmao don't get me wrong I LOVE Lana, I worship her but you're wrong.

Yeah her "influence", I'd rather it call it "impact" or whatever lmao was definitely short, it lasted like 4 or 6 months in 2013.

I don’t know how popular Dua Lipa is in Europe, but she’s completely irrelevant here in North America.

Lol nobody knows her in England

I'd say, talent-wise it's Ariana, but she's a pretty generic pop star.

In terms of iconicness, i'd say Miley b/c of her Bangerz era (iconicness doesn't necessarily mean good either :giggle:)

Spoiler

No shade to Miley I actually like Bangerz but i'm talking more about her publicity stunts/image
