Morphine Prince 109,645 Posted October 3, 2017 Share Posted October 3, 2017 Former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly has said that Sunday's killing of at least 58 people in Las Vegas, the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history, is “the price of freedom.” O’Reilly, a conservative pundit who was fired by Fox News earlier this year following multiple allegations of sexual harassment, made his comments in a blog post published hours after a gunman shot at concertgoers at a country music festival, leaving more than 500 injured. “This is the price of freedom. Violent nuts are allowed to roam free until they do damage, no matter how threatening they are,” O’Reilly wrote on his website. “The Second Amendment is clear that Americans have a right to arm themselves for protection. Everyone knows real freedom is owning 50 guns to ease your own irrational fears created by an individualistic society that is obsessed with making money and disregards things like human well-being in favor of profit. How disgusting to make such a notion like this. The biggest problem with gun control in America is the fact we have neighboring countries with land borders and we are a large nation with widespread population. Trying to implement the needed gun control will cost an extreme amount and ultimately lead to nowhere.
