StrawberryBlond 15,184
Notice how Carmit isn't there? She famously said that if they ever reunited, it wouldn't go ahead if Nicole was part of it, that it was too much water under the bridge. Looks like the other girls needed the money but Carmit stuck to her guns. I think it's just sad how the girls can't move on with their own lives and keep relying on their old fame to make a name for themselves. Nicole especially can't decide what kind of career she wants so instead does a bit of everything. The reunion market is a big business but for girl groups, no. The only girl group for whom there might still be some demand for a reunion is perhaps Destiny's Child. But other than that, no, there just isn't enough nostalgia for reformed girl groups. Most of their fans are women are women just don't have nostalgia for female singers like they do for male singers. It's ironic and sad but true. It's like the boys from Maroon 5 would suddenly start a fight because they want more exposure. I mean I love all of them but the only girl who really has a magic voice besides Nicole is Melody No, they auditioned to be part of a group who all sang a part. Remember that they were a burlesque troupe before they turned to singing. While Nicole was stationed as the lead singer, she wasn't the only singer. Otherwise, they wouldn't be a group, just a soloist with back-up singers. Maroon 5 are a band, as in, they write songs and play instruments, so it's a different dynamic. PCD got all their songs written for them and made dancing a big part, so they're a whole different dynamic. Ashley claimed that the rest of them weren't even allowed to talk in interviews. And of course, when they released their own song, Hush Hush, with a "feat. Nicole" tag at the end, that's when it was really clear what was happening and they started making their voices heard. The woman who put them together even called the other girls "window dressings." Can you imagine being spoken about like that?

You talk like you'd be an expert but you aren't. Let the things happen before you open your mouth.. just saying. I wouldn't say too much if I have no clue Yes they were a burlesque group but if Nicole auditions as a LEAD singer then the other girls probably knew that she's going to sing most of the parts. We both haven't been in that exact moment there so we ultimately know nothing about the auditions. and honey, do your homework right cause Nicole was the only doll co-writing on some songs. A lot of Doll Domination tracks were tracks from Nicole's planned solo album so it's clear that she wanted to get recognized for that. Bye
Robo Ga 15,550
I remember hearing that Nicole was literally the only credited singer on one of their albums 🤖⚡️

Bye It just bothers me when a celebrity doesn't even do their day job the majority of the time, but instead spends it doing reality tv judging and endorsements. When you've got to that point, it's like you just want to be famous and don't care how you maintain said fame. As long as you're in the public eye and getting money, that's all that matters. I never said I was an expert. You don't have a clue about the real situation either. But I'm talking about what the other girls claimed. It's 4 against 1 here. Even Nicole admitted that she sang the new album and the other girls parts were just added in afterwards. That's how badly the others were treated. There is no evidence that Nicole auditioned as the lead singer. They were all on the same level from the beginning judging from how the history was recorded. I mean the whole band wasn't writing songs. The others were that unimportant. I think it's a problem when only one member of the band is doing anything. And there's no need to be so rude. There's such a thing as respectful disagreement.
