sarahb 15,258 Posted October 2, 2017 Share Posted October 2, 2017 Honestly unless the performances were tragic (Meatloaf at the AFL grand final) or controversial (Macklemore performing Same Love) I hardly hear about grand final performers. If I wasn't literally at the NRL grand final last year I probably wouldn't be able to tell you who performed No clue who was at the AFL last year. AFL grand finals actually have more attendance than NRL ones but another problem is that these sports are more popular in certain states (unlike NFL which I'm assuming is popular America wide). But then again I'm sure Gaga performing would grab a lot of attention regardless or being in an AFL or NRL state, I mean I'm in QLD but I'm guessing Macklemore would be getting attention in Victoria.
