rohingya muslims are one of the most oppressed people on earth - not only are they denied citizenship by their own rakhine state , but they are mercilessly persecuted by the myanmar government due to what they call "ethnic cleansing" . they face being tortured , beaten , raped , shot , hacked to death and burned alive . over 3000 rohingya were killed by myanmar military in august and september 2017 alone . 

and people wonder why they emigrate

I had no idea of this. i wish there was something i can do . 

the UN needs to take action.
