She didn't copy her she was Gagas stand in as they prepared and rehearsed for filming. They do it so they can prepare and have things ready to go as soon as Gaga herself is ready to shoot. Very efficient that way. When they did filming for ASiB in NY Richy did the choreo as a stand in for Gaga as they prepped the shoot and worked out camera angles and things. It's really cool to watch in person all the work that goes into preparing a shoot.
