Depends on what kind of movie. 

If a big blockbuster, no $25 Million is horrible, I'm sure they lost a lot of money on the film. 

If a small independent film, that's not a bad gross.

well it really depends on if there were any expectations on that movie and how big of a scale it was shown. But i would generally say not really.

It depends on the budget of the movie, if the movie has a budget of 5 million or less then those are good numbers, if the budget is higher of 5 million, then those are bad numbers.

Well it was a movie targeted to tweens and children so I guess it did pretty decent?

I study marketing and target audience doesn't effect gross numbers unless it's a niche group! Disney films are targeted to kids/tweens AKA family films and they make MILLIONS of dollars
