myOWNtable 182 Posted September 25, 2017 Share Posted September 25, 2017 Well I was going to give Katheryn a try here in Pittsburgh a few days ago but then remembered how throughout most of Kat's career, she has used what Stefani did recently and promoted it as her own. It wasn't inspiration. It was subtle, repeated, shady digs at Gaga. I'm not saying artists shouldn't get inspiration from others, because Gaga has done it too, but with Katy it was on another level. I watched the tour videos and could easily see how she hasn't improved much in terms of vocals or stage presence. The audience at the couple shows I watched seemed confused and silent. When you introduce a fun character from your Super Bowl performance who has more character than you, there's a problem. Keep in mind Left Shark doesn't even talk, and she's more passionate than Katherine. In my decision not to attend, I also considered the steep price for tickets, which was $25.50. It was simply out of my budget and didn't reflect the talent being offered. Spoiler I saw Shawnathan Mendes for $20 and paid $150 for Stefani I believe I made the right decision to skip the Fitness tour.
