It's not. Wikipedia people are usually in the know that forum gays edit their faves pages to make them seem more successful. That's why all the relevant articles are closely guided or even locked.

It's a sign of drastic irrelevance if you can just edit some nonsense into a persons discography and nobody notices it. (For example, nobody clocking the several mistakes on Katy's German wikipedia pages that paint her more successful than she actually is)
