Privacy... which means they want to be free from being observed or disturbed by other people...  

If you want privacy, you go to a studio within high concrete walls with plentiful mirrors around.

If you put up panels protecting the stage view in the place that holds 18K+ when houseful,  you are putting final touches on something that is ready to see the light of day, and you know when that day is.
