i will only accept a new gaga single this friday if it obliterates both rihanna's and taylor's singles. and by obliterate, i mean complete and utter domination of gaga's single. 10 weeks #1, platinum in under a month, 3x in under 3 months, 300m spotify streams in under 2 months, etc

I did not like PI upon first listen at all. I remember playing it sitting on the bed with my boyfriend, and he goes “THATS her comeback single?”

I thought I was being punk’d. 

 

Now, since time has passed, I can say that I enjoy and bop to the song, but I don’t feel like it’s a great song by any means. I find it lyrically weak, and a poor choice for a lead single.

IDK, but the majority release music the thursdays at midnight of Friday(?, so maybe the new single coming in a couple of hours?

I've got exactly the same reaction when I first heard PI and saw the MR's mv
and since that I lost the ability to get hyped by gaga's  big announcements
(but actually I love PI so much , it's just not what I expected at that time)
