I think they pulled it Look as soon as they were 100% sure that Ready For It was the next single. Ready For It wasn't as panned as Look and Gorgeous were (sans the fomos who stan both travesties of songs). I think they shot two music videos beforehand for both songs with the intention to promote one as a single and to give the other one the John Wayne treatment. But looking at the budget of Ready For it, I'm pretty sure that Taylor wanted that one as a single more than Gorgeous in the first place. They still have a good chance with Ready For It because the teaser got a lot of hype, the song lingers in the Top 20 on iTunes still and has like 35M-40M AI on Radio
