When was Taylor til 1989 outside of Europe?  Oh yeah, stuck in NA doing 80 shows and in Europe: 3/4. (2 in UK and one in Germany), whereas Katy: California Dreams Tour - 43 in Europe, Prismatic Tour - 38 and Witness: The Tour - 20.

Taylor's first #1 is Look What You Made Me Do. Katy's first #1 was I Kissed a Girl in 2008.

Taylor's first #1 album was Red (almost 6 yrs into her career). Katy's was Teenage Dream (2 years into her career.)

Katy has more hits than Taylor WW. Look their chart positions outside of NA.

The only category Taylor wins is album sales and awards.

Katy is obviously bigger then taylor in EU overall, gaga is bigger too but i thought we were talking witness era only

Didn't you reference to Swish Swish first? And Taylor has reached to the popularity of Katy's EU popularity this era (and last... Shake It Off and Blank Space may didn't hit #1 but theirs longevity in the EU is still nice)

and btw Taylor sold 140M singles worldwide meanwhile Katy sold 125M

Well if we're talking about the Witness are only, then Taylor definitely is doing better than her. Although LWYMMD did really bad on the charts for being a #1 song tho.
