Maybe petty isn't the right word, but by doing it she's relying way too much on her fanbase, whereas a significant portion of the GP has clearly lost interested in her already this era, and by keeping it off streaming she'll lost the interest of even more who were thinking of checking out her album but have no intentions on buying it. It just isn't good for the longterm game. This era just screams frontloaded/quick burn out.

I have not given Reputation a full listen, but I am sick of people kissing her ass when she trashes them. Whereas you have Gaga being always respectful and mindful of everyone yet she gets trashed on and dragged over her album.

Honestly same. I didn't care last night and was only helping out the fans get a link, but I woke up today and everyone was so excited so I thought "oh what the hell" and grabbed a link, but it failed midway and I just don't care that much to find a better leak or torrent it.  I'll listen to it next week when it's on streaming services.

Can't believe you can't even buy separate tracks on iTunes from Reputation. Truly a calculated artist who cares so much about how much her album opens with. Sad!

btw I will never trash other artists' work from now on, coz my fave stopped giving a **** in 2011 and her music isn't that good anymore 

Lorde, SZA, Kesha... (and many more female releases in the past year) all delivered fresh, cohesive albums. Critics are also kissing their asses?
