On the day of the show, the twitter site Katy Perry Updates posted that the capacity of that arena is 20,000.  So 14k-15k seems about right for the seats that aren't behind the stage.

Is anything reported about the tour credible, or is all just made up?

Edit:  From wikipedia:  "Bridgestone Arena has a seating capacity of 17,113 for ice hockey, 19,395 for basketball, 10,000 for half-house concerts, 18,500 for end-stage concerts and 20,000 for center-stage concerts, depending on the configuration used."

There you have it.  The 8868 capacity reported is fake af.  They might as well not release any boxscores for this tour, because they are not believable.  Actually, sorry to see such desperation.  Katy deserves better than this.

Okay so here's Taylor pre-numbers for Billboard

TEA+SEA= 210,000 (There's still next week numbers so this will be increased)

Pre-Orders = 400,000 (Target,iTunes,Amazon)

Total Pre-Numbers SPS = 610,000.... and the album hasn't even out yet.

Total Pre-Numbers for 1989 = 200,000 Pure sales only.

That means 3/4 streams from Witness is coming from one song. The rest is even more tragic than the Joanne's tracks

That's because in my post I only added BA, SWSW and CTTR streams on Spotify. She already has over 1/2 a billion streams with just three songs.
