Million Grammys is a masterpiece. A+ songwriting. A+ vocals. A work of pure ART.

OPIHs need to stop. I'll admit I was underwhelmed when it first came out but I grew to like it. Its a banger and goes off live. Does that instrumental not SCREAM iconic to you?

Well, Rihanna knew she was going to flop with ANTi. Every lead single that she has released (except for Pon de Replay and Russian Roullette) made it to the #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and when she saw that FourFiveSeconds went only to #4, BBHMM was panned by the radios and American Oxygen barely debuted on the list, she knew things weren't going to end well. So she decided to erase those three singles and start over, by doing a non-sense song and taking advantage of Drake, who was slaying the charts by the moment. The result? A #1 and six-platinum single, just what she needed to push the album.

But even with a #1, people still wasn't there for ANTi, so she made a deal with Samsung and gave away one million copies. Obviously no one said that ANTi was a flop because she earned a platinum in less than a month. After the flop of Kiss It Better, she put some payola on Needed Me and got another top 10. And well, she had some luck with Love on the Brain.

The Anti Tour was another mess, she cancelled two UK stadium dates for no reason (low sales, obviously) and her promoters didn't release every boxscore after the mess of her US leg. So yes, ANTi was a flop but Rihanna and her team made everyone believed that it was such a big hit like Unapologetic.

I'm only good at being bad

Why would NM be payola'd? People clearly loved it. Look at its Spotify streams. :poot:

Gurl you didn't know Needed Me was on TTH weeks and power rotaions for months :selena:

Songs on TTH for months barely scratch 200M. 500M+ is impressive and a massive streaming hit. NM's carbon copy by Halsey was on TTH longer than Halsey's last 3 disease diagnoses and it hasn't done anything impressive. There's countless other examples. NM is a smash. Being on PR isn't crazy when people were actually streaming it. PD's look at streams not just sales. Not to mention that NM was successful digitally before it was being spammed on radio. We're no stranger to that *cough cough MR being #1 on iTunes multiple times but barely moving digital sales when it hit its radio peak*
