n0ne 13,105
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (American Remake) - 8.5/10 "My people… need to let our bitchiness out. Otherwise, it turns to bile and poisons us"
ArmyOfDarkness 0
Django Unchained - 8/10 Definitely needed about 50 mins edited out of it, third act was unneeded. Had a bit of a problem with the anachronistic use of hip hop music, but nothing to ruin the film for me. Definitely his best since Jackie Brown, nice to see Tarantino come back with films that actually have character motivations etc instead of pointless exercises like death proof. I heard some complaints about the use of humor during the baghead scene, I don't agree with that however, I thought it worked well do demystify them and make them look like fools. Most of the professional actors turned in very good performances, however Quentin's decision to star in the movie, even briefly, stands out horribly with his bad acting which is exposed more with the better actors around him. jaspermatt 193
Django Unchained: 8/10 It's definitely one of Tarantino's best films. I love everything about it.
MegaMiles 0
The Phantom of the Opera (2004) :7/10 The songs were just amazing but the acting felt rather flat. The Phantom of the Opera 25th Anniversary: 9/10 Pretty flawless. The sheer spectacle of it with the stage and Ramin Karimloo was amazing as The Phantom and Sierra Boggess was also amazing. I also felt some emotion for Raoul which I lacked while watching the theatrical version.
n0ne 13,105
Mama - 8.5/10 It definitely had it's cliched jump scares but the acting was great and the story was mostly original; it definitely has signature Guillermo del Toro touches especially through the score and creature development/special effects. I definitely recommend it. "My people… need to let our bitchiness out. Otherwise, it turns to bile and poisons us"

n0ne 13,105
Butter - 8.5/10 Better than I expected, the acting was great especially Jennifer Garner who easily despicable b/c of her character. Queen Gloria 3,464
What Ever Happened To Baby Jane? - 10/10! I was so impressed with this movie, I love Joan Crawford and Bette Davis. It's a classic campy thriller and I can't believe I waited until now to see it. I never used to like black and white movies but recently I've been more open to them, and I'm glad I watched it. Knowing that Bette Davis and Joan Crawford had a feud in real life and didn't want to work together adds even more tension to each scene, they're both great in it :legend:

Khashoggi 1
Les miserables - 7.5/10. Thought Anne Hatheway wasn't a real good singer, kinda thought/think she was/is the biggest laugh in this movie.
Chuckles 2,549
I'm going to rate the last three movies I watch. Life of Pi: 10/10 The script and the effects were on point. And I loved the actor that played the main character. The Impossible: 10/10 A real life story that touched me. There were even tears at the corner of my eye. Django Unchained: 9/10 It was extremely bloody at times (it was too much). But all the actors were perfect.
