n0ne 13,105
G.B.F. = 9/10 I loved it. I hope it becomes a classic. It's just a phenomenal gay coming of age film. The acting, pacing, and direction were perfect. The main ensemble's acting was amazing, especially when it came to comedic timing. The lead is hot and talented, I hope he becomes prominent in the future. Plus his wardrobe was on point. I just found the film highly relatable and sincere. Lampost 731
Maleficent - 6/10 As much as I love Angelina and the whole female-orientated angle, it's messy and things like the three fairies just don't work. Godzilla - 5/10 You know there's a problem when a Godzilla film is more entertaining when there's no monsters. There's glimpses of greatness, like the Hawaii part and the opening but the majority of the characters fall flat and the fight scenes are a bore. X-Men: Days of Future Pat - 8/10 Without a doubt, one of the best X-Men films to date. It does a fairly good job of cleaning up this MESS of a franchise. Characters like Beast are used as background extras though, and Quiksilver's appearance is far too short.
ReRe 1,957
A solid 10/10 for Maleficent I adore every single part of Maleficent, and the battle between Maleficent and King Stefan made me so worked up! Oops spoilers , anyway, Maleficent have great plot twists that makes me so happy. I don't mind watching it over and over again. Maleficent is a total masterpiece. :applause: :trootea:
Phantomhive 2,030
9/10 Although the overall plot wasn't really mind blowing, it was refreshing. Maleficent has always been one of the most iconic villains of all time and the film showed her in a different light. Also, the graphics were amazing but the true standout of the film was definitely Angelina Jolie's performance. There were honestly a few moments where I was holding myself back from screaming "YAAAAAAAAAAASS WERK MAMA JOLIE!!" ( ) especially in the scene where Maleficent was bestowing her gift upon Aurora. In I fly on wings of winter.
n0ne 13,105
8.5/10 Definitely better than Snow White and the Huntsman. Angelina made the film and slayed like she always does. But the special effects and cinematography were stunning as well. I also really liked how they adapted and altered the tale of sleeping beauty. My only critiques would be the film dragged at times and the other characters and/or actors needed to be stronger. Angelina gets bonus points for being inspired by Gaga and including Lana. All 3 are among my favs. "My people… need to let our bitchiness out. Otherwise, it turns to bile and poisons us"

Lion Heart 15,041
Soldier's Girl Rating: 9.5/10 A captivating story about a doomed relationship involving private Barry of the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army, and Calpernia a transgender showgirl in Nashville, Tennessee. The movie highlight's some of the struggles that military members went through as a consequence of the "don't ask, don't tell" policy which prohibited homos-xual or bis-xual persons from speaking of any same-s-x relationships including marriages or other attributes while serving in the military, among other things. Barry's roommate finds out about his relationship with a transgender nightclub performer, and he becomes increasingly confused and angry towards Barry and decides to strike back by spreading rumors around and it's all a downward spiral from there. It's based on a true story, and I highly recommend this movie. ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

One Five Ten 70
Bad Words 7/10. Funny plot and entertaining, some hilarious one-liner insults. Jersey Boys 9/10. Could have been improved by drawing out the musical sequences more, and including more sequences to make it more of a 'real' musical like in the play. However, extremely impressed with what was done. John Lloyd Young and Vincent Piazza give amazing performances. They Came Together 9.5/10. Very low budget, but the take on romantic comedy tropes is actually hilarious! I can see some people won't like this film though, it's practically an 80 minute SNL sketch, but it's amazing. It's like a "Scary Movie" of "You've Got Mail" (or like "Date Movie" but actually done well). Some scenes had me rolling in tears!
