Costume design was lovely and the plot was like "Wow!". And I had the hugest crush on Sam Riley as Diaval Adoremus in caelum, Palutena. Dea luminis. You don't really feel as if you know her character really, after watching it. The actors were all satisfying in it. The future's uncertain and the end is always near. The performances and special effects were on point, though the story was kind of derivative and unoriginal at times. It's like The Crazies in space lol. Annabelle = 8.5/10 I don't understand how this got mixed reviews. The acting, atmosphere/visual effects, and plot progression worked together and created a thrilling horror movie. I wasn't as good as The Conjuring, but still better than most horror movies out there. The Signal = 9/10 Another movie, that I don't how it got mixed reviews. Its a original dramatic and thriller sci-fi thriller, that can be slow at times but makes up for it in beautiful special effects and cinematography, great acting performances, and plot twists. I saw the trailer last year and knew I would really like the movie and I did. I don't understand why it was just released as a limited release in theaters last year and not a wide release. The most brilliant thing about this franchise is its not trying to win over anyone and it doesn't care if you hate them. The action sequences are predictably outrageous and enticingly thrilling. The scenes without skydiving cars are surprisingly poignant. There's still much to love and care about these characters 14 years in. A remarkably paced homage to Paul Walker and its fans cements this franchise as one of the greatest action series to ever grace cinema.
