MegaMiles 0 Posted August 31, 2013 Share Posted August 31, 2013 The Breakfast Club - 9/10 This was an awesome movie. It provided insight into the lives of teenagers in a warm and comedic way. You really start to empathize with the characters as they start knocking down the stereotypes and first impressions you get of the characters and you realize that they are more similar than they seem. There was never a dull moment in the film and I pretty much laughed all the way through. As someone who can't get enough of 80's films, you can't get much more 80's than this. The Heat - 3/5 Relatively well balanced comedy, the story's obviously rather dull but that's not what this is about - it's entertaining enough to hold up. You're Next - 3/5 It has cool intentions, but it's never quite as cool as you might want it to be. Main character is kick-ass though ;) Monsters University - 4/5 Good fun, Pixar's return to form. Oblivion - 2/5 Mildly entertaining but constantly absurd and disappointing. Stoker - 3/5 It's cool but rather uneventful considering there's several things going on here. Side Effects - 4/5 A well polished movie, I very much so enjoyed it but your opinion on the film will depend completely on your ability to accept being lied to. Mulholland Drive - 4/5 Gripping stuff, although I often felt like this during the film. aquaprincess 23 Posted September 7, 2013 Share Posted September 7, 2013 Riddick - 3/5 i love me some vin diesel and i loved the action, once they got to it. the monologue in the beginning seemed to go on forever.and the storyline was kinda boring. it was way better than chronicles of riddick. but that one was so bad, there was no place to go but up. i dont see much life left in these riddick movies. if it does well they'll probably make another tho. hope they flesh out a better story for the next one if thats the case and maybe get a another director...
