The particular police shootings they are kneeling for are highly disputable where, in most circumstances, the police officer was physically injured before the shooting occurred. They don't even wait for a clear-cut case where the police officer was not assaulted, or where the criminal was not actively breaking the law when the shooting happened. No, they kneel to support any time a black person is killed by police, even though statistics show that black-on-black crime, as well as black-on-white crime, far exceeds white-on-black crime. They kneel to support mass riots city-wide where black individuals are breaking into other black peoples businesses and stealing things they don't need. They kneel because we just had our first black president, because Affirmative Action guarantees black people first pick despite lower test scores, they kneel because subprime lending and an array of other government policies give advantages to black people because of skin color, they kneel because every single celebrity, every single piece of media, every single article of conversation is in support of black people, and yet they kneel because somehow none of this matters, and America must be "racist" because a cop, bleeding from the head, shot his black assailant. Technically you're right, but NASCAR is still popular, especially in the South. Also their chairman is a Trump supporter so there's your answer. Plus I don't think there's any drivers from any minority racing under this organization, just white males and maybe one or two white females currently. Location and ties. -- I don't agree with this because honestly I believe that everyone has the right to express themselves as they seem fit, and shouldn't be penalized for it. However, if these drivers are under contract, much like any other sport, the higher ups can make the rules as they see "fit". It will be very interesting to see how the sponsors tie into this, I can see major companies pulling out based on NASCAR's decision which will be hurtful towards NASCAR especially with their ratings dropping.... While I suppose some parts of this are true, your overall point here is wrong and rooted in racist propoganda. At the end of the day, there are still a large number of cops out there using racial profiling and being much rougher/using lethal force with black Americans. That's what we're protesting.
