Turkey always relies on neighbours that are hostile to eachother. So warming relations with Russia means they can cool down relations with the EU and vice versa. The worsening relation between Turkey and the EU is undoubtedly due to his efforts to stay in power in an overly nationalistic country split about evenly against and for him and because he knows by now Turkey won't join the EU in the near future. Its normal that "Extreme political parties" (they arent even extreme) are starting to rise. And is dumb to not expect it. Simply because they don't think the same as u think they are not educated? How can the current politic be interesting if its always the same? I must say im happy with those results. Maybe the "elites" will finally notice that something is Wrong in Europe.
