I never felt like this is gonna be the movie of the moment that's everybody talking about and waiting to see. So idk how I feel about this date switch.

Hah, as I'm learning!

Eh, the Variety and Deadline writers are taking this positive so why should we trust an EW writer his sources more. :giggle:

tbh the way Joey wrote about her acting feedback makes me think it's not good. :rip:

I don't expect of her great acting but she's gonna get so much backlash from the media. :crossed:

@JoeyNolfi,Hey can you request RT to add your 5F2 review on their site? We could use more positive reviews

This woman can't stop leaving people speechless with her talent. I'm so so happy that she's getting all the love she deserves and needs in this moment. This is getting better each day :kara:

You really can't compare these superhero films with something like A Star Is Born. But I agree, their choices haven't always been great.

Even beyond that, there's been so much shakeup there the past few years that a big reason they keep moving the movie dates around on all their films whether it's blockbusters or smaller budget like this is because they're an old studio trying to find a formula for the current market when there really isn't one as it changes so fast. The irony is that their old approach of letting directors do their thing typically works better than their new one that involves more micromanaging. I say this having worked at a competing studio where we did analyses of the competition. So their shifting of ASIB to May is not indicative of their faith in the film necessarily and could be that they thought an earlier, more open premiere might help it as they can then promote it for longer.

The quote they lifted from me to put in the trailer was actually not from a review, it was from my coverage of the premiere. One of my coworkers actually reviewed the film. Though I'm essentially the Gaga beat writer here, we have a policy that states a person who interviews the subject for a movie (I interviewed Gaga and Chris) can't write the review, or else I would have!

oh thanks. I just saw the review and they gave it a B. could've been better but oh well
