Oh sorry, I thought you meant Gaga for some reason. 

I do agree that the girl wasn't presented favourably in the doc and it wasn't very responsible of Chris Moukarbel to include it when she would obviously get ridiculed.

The older generation should be teaching the younger generation not to hit anyone at all. Poor girl was probably humiliated and upset.

I think the bullying towards this girl is also an example of what's wrong with this fanbase.

Not defending the "Mommy Girl" for stalking down celebrities just to get selfies with them all of the time, but the response to her (seeking her out and bullying her) has been ridiculous too.

But the thing is... so what? She tracks down the whereabouts of celebrities and gets pictures with them. What is so scandalous about this? It's not like she's sending them her pubes in the mail and going full-on Misery with a sledgehammer to the foot. She's just a girl who likes celeb selfies.

The reaction to this has been absurd. This fanbase continues to disappoint me every f*cking week. But I guess the majority are still very young and immature. So maybe it's time I backed away from it a bit, just like Gaga did.

It's not about hitting someone. But if you got bullied, fight back all you can, make a stand for yourself. People bullied another because they know they can make them a sandbag without repercussions.

You can make a stand without throwing a punch  

Bully hits person, person hits bully, bully hits person back...vicious cycle. It doesn't stop them from being a bully. I think Gaga talks about this when she said we need to focus on why they bully, not necessarily punish them with a fist. Violence isn't really ever a thing we should promote to the younger generation in my eyes. If your life is in danger that is different but that's not really the case.

I think that is naive when we know some people out there just won't listen to things. But if you think that is a way to go, make yourself comfy with that blanket.

I think that stalking down celebs just to get pictures with them is cringey.  I also think calling celebrities "mommy" is pretty cringey too. And in the context of the documentary, the scene comes across as how some people don't know boundaries and how Gaga gets really stressed out in environments like that.  We can argue that the documentary manipulated the situation to make it look invasive, but eh ... That's a whole other discussion.  I simply think that fans who act like that girl are cringey.

And I'm calling out the fans that have bullied her, too. I'm in no way excusing that.

It may be cringey to some, but she's not hurting anyone so I think people should just leave her alone.

It's not naive at all. Ever heard of the saying "an eye for an eye makes the world blind"? There are far better ways to deal with bullying. Yes, many bullies WON'T listen to the victim in any circumstance, but they will listen to teachers/authority figures when they're threatened with expulsion from school, or threatened with being thrown off the football team, etc.
