Except for sheep. Clothes made from sheep wool are very humane since shearing (when done properly) is beneficial to the sheep.

As are angora rabbits. From reading, angora rabbits are sheared for their fur

You're right about sheep (I own pet sheep). But oh honey, angora rabbits are treated horribly. I've seen videos and they're literally just got their legs stretched and tied with rope and forced to endure people viciously ripping out their fur.

Then those people are doing it wrong.

People are idiots. They never bother to properly learn how to do something, then proceed to do something wrong for the rest of their natural lives because no one else told them it was was.

And there are doing it wrong because you're supposed to shear an angora rabbit much like one would do a sheep. There are cases when you "pluck" the hair, but that's only when the bunnies are shedding anyway. Still even then, you're supposed to use a mixture of scissors and probably special brushes alongside the plucking method.

Plus, do to how angora's are bred, many of them need to have their coats sheared or it will become dangerous for them as they will rip out their own fur, an get hairballs/intestinal blocks in the process. While hair being ripped by the bunny is a normal process to make a next especially for female bunnies with these little poofs beneath their neck, its far more dangerous for angoras who usually have much longer and much more fur. They're kind of like sheep in that they need to be sheared, especially the more specialized breeds that humans have filtered.

Also it seems that it was another PETA video about China you may be talking about. While I have a problem with PETA, it seems China doesn't have proper care standards for animals.
