JustHMLover 1,635 Posted September 19, 2017 Share Posted September 19, 2017 Sia’s creative collaborations with teenage dancer Maddie Ziegler continues to expand — first with “Chandelier,” then “The Greatest,” and, now, with My Little Pony: The Movie. Yes, really. We already knew Sia was participating the upcoming MLP flick as Pony pop star Songbird Serenade, so it would only make sense that she release a big song for the movie. The music video for “Rainbow,” debuting exclusively above, is directed by Daniel Askill and features another impressive performance by 14-year-old Ziegler. Cut between footage of Songbird Serenade performing for a packed crowd — which of course includes Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, and the rest of the Mane 6 — Ziegler dances on a stage of water, successfully battling and conquering the elements. She is just in the recording studio knocking out generic songs trying to get a hit, the whole wig thing was a gimmick. Take a break Sia and come back with something fresh.
