I'm not sure she'll be able to go to Malibu, I mean, after her show in Philadelphia people from her closest team were all in NYC (probably waiting to travel to Rio) so I guess LG was in NYC too. She was probably hospitalized somewhere in NYC, maybe Lenox Hill which is pretty close to her NYC apartment. And I'm not sure how she would handle the journey to Malibu right now. :S

I'm glad to hear that. At least she's close to family, friends and home!

my dad is a surgeon, I asked him what fibromyalgia is and he answered that it's mainly being treated with antidepressant drugs. And he told me that people who have it are often really depressed and tortured.

they are often depressed.. maybe that's what the antidepressants are for?

Even my mom was asking if I'd read it heard if she's still in the hospital....I was like

She could be at home getting private treatment everyday like most celebrities do instead of being in a general public hospital.

Or she may be at a specialized treatment center for what she's dealing with....i don't know

Back to pre-ARTPOP blackout 2.0 I feel... :ohno:

I don't know, I feel like there is more to this than we know (there always is). Gaga even eluded to that in her note. I just hope she's ok and gets better whatever is going on.

yes he's a urologist surgeon, which has nothing to do with it. But he of course has some knowledge about it.

However I can't see where the article goes against anything I said ? :oprah:

medications have been approved because they help to counteract the chemical changes from a neurotransmitter level

from the mayo clinic website:

Pain relievers. Over-the-counter pain relievers such as acetaminophen (Tylenol, others), ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin IB, others) or naproxen sodium (Aleve, others) may be helpful. Your doctor might suggest a prescription pain reliever such as tramadol (Ultram). Narcotics are not advised, because they can lead to dependence and may even worsen the pain over time.

Antidepressants. Duloxetine (Cymbalta) and milnacipran (Savella) may help ease the pain and fatigue associated with fibromyalgia. Your doctor may prescribe amitriptyline or the muscle relaxant cyclobenzaprine to help promote sleep.

Anti-seizure drugs. Medications designed to treat epilepsy are often useful in reducing certain types of pain. Gabapentin (Neurontin) is sometimes helpful in reducing fibromyalgia symptoms, while pregabalin (Lyrica) was the first drug approved by the Food and Drug Administration to treat fibromyalgia

etc etc etc

to be honest, we can be thankful she's still alive, she's sooo strong. in her place, i'd probably retire.
