There are plenty of great Asian actors. I sympathize. Not one trans person has won an emmy but one has been nominated.

Sam Smith come thru and be the first gay man to win an Emmy!

Well, it's always the same story: the award shows aren't the problem, but a result of the lack of opportunities and representation of minorities in entertainment, aka the real issue.

and when there are big opportunities they cast people who aren't asian like the movie with charleze theron. it's not a racism thing but a money thing, they cast people who they think will bring big money to the box office

Isn't that merely a reflection of racism in society? The public perceives minorities, even subconsciously, as being less talented, worthy or successful and therefore they're less likely to be spotlighted in areas of talent. So even if the movie industry isn't being directly racist by staying away from these actors because they believe the public won't grant them success or sales, it's still ultimately because the public sees them as less valuable or talented.

Think of if a gay person went to a Christian party and the Christians decided to leave because of it. Is the host homophobic for cancelling the event due to the fact everyone left? Or is it an indirect circumstance of the Christians in question being homophobic?

This is a vicious circle: since Hollywood rarely casts minorities, there are fewer bankable celebrities coming from these minorities, so they always go back to the same white celebs even for projects that actually ask for different ethnicities.
