Well, he's certainly going back to his controversial video roots after toning things down for The Pale Emperor. It's not the best song I've ever heard from him, but it's growing on me. The video, however, is more of the standard controversial cliches that just don't get to me anymore. I just saw the extremely disgusting video for XXXTentacion's Look At Me today and once you're seen that, nothing that follows up can quite be on that level. Was that one nun actually trying to put that guy's entire head inside her? I really don't think rape being depicted in modern music is what we need right now. It's so easy for men to put it forward but women are all too happy to act in it as well, which is quite sad. The only saving grace was at least he didn't take that girl from behind, like I thought he was going to do when he positioned himself behind her. And I always find sexual situations, even extreme ones, much easier to watch than gory violence, so just as well he didn't go that far. But the whole sexualised nuns thing is so tired now, we've seen this many times before, sometimes from Manson's own videos. They looked just like The Saints from Hitman: Absolution, and that was 5 years ago. I guess there's not much new stuff left to do in this day and age, especially if you don't want to get banned from YouTube. Though I'm surprised this isn't age restricted yet.
