not asher613 661
Her failure to listen to her health needs in the past is the exact thing which led to her hip injury and other harmful choices. We should not forget her tenacity and her will to surmount the challenges her condition has put before her. For her, the real bravery and strength is to do what she needs to do to look after herself despite possible negative impact on her career, her perfectionist standards, her monster-love, or her image. None of these are as important as her mental physical and emotional well-being. I'm glad she cancelled and i hope she has the courage to do so again in the future. I think it goes without saying that the remaining dates of her tour are in question. Canceling because your body quits (like now) and canceling ahead of time those activities which will bring you to the brink are both equally legitimate, to my view. She needs to learn her body's limits before she can responsibly schedule another tour and I don't see the remainder of this tour any different. I feel extremely lucky to have seen the jwt. some say it is her best live tour to date and i feel comfortable saying that it's the greatest live production I've ever attended. She certainly didn't put all that work talent and creativity together in order to drop it unnecessarily. I feel for our Latin and European friends but the fallout from last minute cancelations combined with the real possibility of exacerbating a condition she might be grappling with for years to come makes me wonder if it's worth trying to press on ahead even if she recovers fully in time for Barcelona on the 21st. Fibromyalgia does not respond well to excessive physical strain. How do we know it won't happen again? An artist should know ahead of time that touring won't lead to hospitalization or debilitating pain. even if people will be upset. I love her and I worry about her, and i worry about the ramifications of keeping tour dates she will be forced to cancel suddenly, going forward. Not sure what this thread is actually about so... question: do ggd monsters agree? or should she keep trying to make the scheduled dates?
getto 1,552
I don't know what she should do honestly...But I understand you!
REALITY 76,678
I just hope and pray that she'll be able to recover smoothly. While it'd suck for her to cancel other parts of the tour, we ultimately have to remember that she's just a human being, and if she's in serious pain, we ourselves need to take that seriously. If people are complaining about her cancelling, then they have no empathy for her situation. Gaga has always put us first, and she tries her damn best to give us amazing shows, and she does everything in her power for her not to cancel them. What we need to do is send her our best wishes. monketsharona 81,285
If she's not able to make it again, seriously I think she should stop touring... I mean if her body is not handling this anymore I would be very fine having albums but not tours for them As long as her health is good she should thinking about it

SKULPTRESS61 17
I totally agree, I just want to see her in a better physical and mental place. Chronic pain is draining. She puts forth one hell of a show. Dancing, traveling, promoting....all so draining. Stef take care of you, your Little monsters, even us older ones love you and want you well. Looking forward to new music when you're up to it, new surprises and to seeing A Star is Born. Until then remember how much you are loved.
Hyoha 1,613
Brazilian Monsters have not had a Gaga concert in almost 5 years, so...it is disappointing for sure. However, I do believe she made the correct and best choice for her and for all her fans. She has to recover to be in her prime again.
JoanneMonster 9,028
You guys should stop overreacting. 1. Gaga didnt say her pain came from touring 2. She hasnt cancelled Europe at the moment 3. She might be feeling this pain today, but she may feel okay in three days, we dont know. 4. Shes gonna have this desease foreve, do you want her to retire? No. She can tour and cancel shows whenever she feels pain. 5. Maybe she cancels the rest of the tour and she doesnt feel pain in the next 4 months, we dont know, and she doesnt either. She hasnt cancelled Europe because she doesnt know how shes going to feel in week. I See You

Kimblue 7,334
I think she struggles with those decisions because she loves performing and it's probably extremely hard for her to let go.
