I always liked Selena. She seems so genuine and down to earth!

Wish her the best..she must be fighting quite a battle against lupus. No matter what you think of her voice or if she has talent, we should still be glad that the transplant went well.

Even though I am not a fan of her music and singing, I respect and adore her for being so kind, good-natured and down-to-earth. She's truthful and in this situations, you need to find hope. I hope she gets well sooner.

Wow the amount of love it takes to give someone one of your organs is so beautiful. :diane:

I love her so much, and I wish her the best possible recovery. My mom suffers from similar autoimmune diseases, and it hurts to watch her after the relentless surgerys she receives, so I also wish good things to her friends and family. I love you Selena!

Also, here friend must me so kind. I wish her a great recovery as well, because donating organs isn't an easy thing to do.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

Lupus is like quantum mechanics, if you think you understood lupus....well you didn't

I mean...i remember reading about lupus when gaga was spending time with tara and both have lupus back in pre ARTPOP era..and it sounded like lupus makes you feel tired and all....

but i didnt know you could be in need for a new kidney because of lupus. that sounds severe as fkkk

This is really, really bad. Kidney transplants are basically a death sentence. The kidney lasts at most 15 years (if the donor is alive and a blood relative), and you are on immunosuppressants for the rest of your life (which she would have already been on for her lupus, but the dosage will most likely increase), which means that she is much more likely to contract and die from infectious disease like flu or pneumonia, and she is highly likely to develop cancer later in life. She will need a new kidney transplant every 12-15 years. Very sad.
