Fifth Harmony - Deliver

This is really cute. Dinah looks stunning and really shines in this video, as do all of the girls.

They may not have a huge budget for their videos, but nobody can say that they don't put 100% into their music/work.

They work well even if they don't have a huge budget. It's not even necessary for this type of video either.

They're all under the same label. Fifth Harmony deserve so much more than they are getting and it's obvious that their label only believed in Camila so they are giving her a much bigger budget and promo compared to the girls.

What's even sadder is that Camila obviously knew that she was given the most attention in the group yet couldn't even call out their shitty management to give everyone a chance. I'm glad that snake left.

How dare you say they are crashing down. Success doesn't equate to sales or streams. They may not have a big budget but their music is 10 times better than what it was.

EVERY girl's voice shines this time. Canola's auto tuned vocals aren't overshadowing anyone.

Capri-Sun leaving was the best thing to happen to Fifth Harmony.

It's a bad situation when that happens. But considering they were a manufactured group put together by a manufactured show and have most of their material written for them and their direction decided for them, they will have next to no input in decisions, so I doubt that Camila saying anything would have changed much. Remember when she said that she didn't like how sexualised their management made them? That's likely partly the reason why she left. Manufactured groups get barely any say in how they are portrayed or what music they make and they're contracted to do as they're told.

They are crashing down. Their debut single didn't even go top 40 in the US, their biggest market. Their music video has barely scraped 44 million views in its first 3 months and hasn't even hit 1 million likes. Compare this to the likes of Worth It, Work From Home, even All In My Head and That's My Girl views and likes and it's clear that the public has left them in droves. And actually yes, success is equated to sales and streams. Winning is the definition of success. There's not even an opinion here - they're flopping. Fact. You can be a fan of who you want but don't be delusional. And you're allowed to think their music is better than ever but I think its got worse with every album, it's got to the stage where it sounds like anything was just thrown together and no one could be bothered. I don't even think an album this bad would be allowed to be released as a debut. I think they showed so much promise with their debut but then it all went to s**t afterwards.

True, the girls now sing differently and all get equal treatment, but if the music's not good enough, it hardly matters. I disapproved of Camila leaving initially but when I discovered how good her solo stuff was (apart from OMG), I started to think branching out on her own was for the best.

I respect your opinion. Camila is a solid artist by herself of course and I actually like her, but I just hate the way she handled the situation. Her voice was the most heard on every single album, so I wouldn't doubt that her opinions were heard.

Management knew that she was the most popular of the girls so they made sure that their fave was getting the spotlight that they thought she deserved:

Her management is pulling all the stops in making sure that she is a success. The Spotify payola is paying off, and I'm happy that her career investment that her label made is paying off.

But success for me means different things rather than the typical meaning of making money and getting views.

You don't know how hard they had to fight to be able to get this third album going.

Whilst Camila was galavanting around with Diplo and other people recording features and her own album, Ally herself made sure that they had a lawyer so they could renegotiate their contract. The four girls didn't want to just let that girl screw them over and they made sure of it.

This is the first time they were given a chance to write for this album.

It's sad when I see comments downplaying them just because of trivial things like music videos or "having success" when they don't know half of what the girls have been through in order to see their success.

They were ****ed over big time but turned it around for themselves.

The music is good, the girls are serving ridiculous amounts of content (as their entire budget didn't go to Spotify or Apple, obviously), making appearances at NYFW and mingling, and readying for another tour.

And they're happier than they've been in years. Where is the issue?
