She said there will be a few surprises up her sleeve or something very close to that effect in her statement.  True, it may just be her way of not sending the entire fan base into a spiraling chaotic freak out.  (I think if there was mass chaos fan base wise interscope would probably highly encourage/force her to continue working if they saw the fan base would leave over a break).  But I do think eventually she will need money, break or not.  Yes she says it's not about the money, but her homes, cars, injections/fillers, clothes, equestrian upkeep, estate workers, traveling, dining, etc is all very expensive.  She will make a sizeable amount from this tour. But eventually she will need to make money unless she truly changes her lifestyle to that of a more common person and truly goes off the celeb/elite grid so to speak.  She should be completely fine for 2018 with tour, movie, soundtrack etc.  but none of us truly know her financial situation.   For all we know Interscope could finance a majority of her possessions and expenses.   I think by 2019 I atleast she her putting out standalone buzz singles or small EP of a couple songs without much promo for some coin.  I think on the flip side though it will be very grounding and revealing to her to see (just like with the hip incident) which friends continue to talk to her and care about her in a true rest/blackout period. And which are only around for the ride/money/lifestyle

ofc i am sad that she will make a rest (again?) but if she need it she really should do it! and she should comeback stronger and healthier.. 
gaga was strong but i kind of think the time when ARTPOP came out broke her and she is still a little bit broke... <3

gaga can do it "better" she can be strong, maybe she should start to write songs about strenght and power and emotions again, like btw. i hope she will enjoy her free time!!!! but i also hope that she releases TEA or some songs or demos for us. so she can still rest and doesnt have to do anything but to give us old  "new" song we never heard, this would be soo cool <3
