Messy Gaga Classroom Experience

I didn't really know what to tag this as, since this **** is definitely not funny :selena:

But, it was the first day of school today (I'm a 24 year old teacher by the way) and I decided to play a little game with my grade 7 and 8 students as a way to hear about their summer. So we played 3 truths and a lie, and they had to write 3 awesome things they did over the summer, and one lie, and then the class would vote on which was the lie. Their summers all sucked and they included things like "I pet my cat" and "I slept in." Like wtf:emma:

Anywho, after that inspirational and riveting lesson was finished, I thought I would give them one. Mine were that I "got a cat", "got engaged to my girlfriend," "went to North Dakota for a road trip," and "went to a Lady Gaga concert."

The North Dakota one was the lie, but these little pricks say "OMG, I hope the Lady Gaga one is fake, she's so weird." And others were making exaggerated groaning noises.

So ya, none of them are passing this year :nails: Just thought I'd share this depressing story with ya'll..

I wish you were my teacher  I talk about Gaga to some of my teachers though, and one of them missed a meet and greet with her at the Monster Ball 1.0 in Atlanta

It's so weird. My students all react positively to Gaga it surprised me. Even though they still don't know anything about ARTPOP and Joanne. :toofunny: I'm enlightening them by making them do lyrics filling exercises of The Cure and Million Reasons. :bon:

Educate them.

I had a teacher that played music while he wasn't teaching (while we were reading/taking tests) Play nothing but Gaga until they learn to like it :nails: if they don't? FAIL

They were. And I'm gonna be coaching them basketball, so they better get used to Gaga being blasted through the speakers during practice :whitney:
