Guest bostonGUY
No i don't mean a degree Spoiler although if she has a masters degree, slay Also how many more albums does she have to make under her current contract?
Pluto 776
Not sure about the masters but I believe Joanne was her last under contract with Interscope, though maybe not if TFM counted as an EP. anybody knows you can conjure anything by the dark of the moon
TropicOfCANCER 6,292
i'm sure gaga has already re-negotiated/extended her contract, so even if Joanne was "the last" on her contract, it's not like its going to actually change anything. migamiga 12,102
No, Interscope/UMG owns it. I'm not sure what her deal with them is but usually people sign 5-6 album deals and there's a lot of specifics that go into it. I'm also not sure if C2C counts since it was a cover album. I also don't think TFM counts as an album towards her deal since it was labeled as a re-release of TF. So maybe 1 or 2 more albums left? EDIT: There are also "options" in contracts which give Interscope the option to continue to deal or drop her. It doesn't seem like there's any buzz about her moving or wanting to leave so it's safe to say she'll stay there for awhile. But I'm sure a new deal will be in place 1-2 albums from now. According to the RIAA, defines an EP as containing three to five songs or under 30 minutes. https://www.riaa.com/gold-platinum/about-awards/

DavidJP 737
I do not think she has that(music) masters. She doesn't even have a bachelors since she dropped out.

Truthfully, there's nothing we can surmise as outsiders as to how those deals work. You can make a case for either side of the argument so it really depends on how their legal contract specifies it. Sailor 3,321
The girl could record herself singing on a laptop microphone and upload it to SoundCloud and she'd still be more relevant than everyone else in the mainstream industry. bannedT for life and it's SAD
