Trop House is just a variation of it. It's an easy formula though: Go out and introduce yourself to any teenage girl. If her voice is so weak you have to ask her to repeat herself more than once, grab her to a studio. You'll autotune her to death so she doesn't have to be able to hit the notes right. Write lyrics about drinking (whiskey neat, white wine, getting drunk on a train track, getting drunk as hell etc.), getting high (even if it's just 'high on you') and smoking your first cigarette (but not vaping for some reason), having sex (in the summer night, by the ocean, watching the sun go up). Listen to a few trop house songs and STEAL the hook. Play it backwards so it sounds original. Keep the tempo slow, around 100bpm. If it raises your pulse it's too fast. Nobody dances these days, they're taking selfies! Call yourself The Brainjokers and contact a record company. Talk about the combined number of your brain cells on social media (count on your fingers. It's easy!). Get rich and ridiculed. The hard sound of ARTPOP isn't really trendy atm so I doubt Interscope would let her unless she was able to make some absolutely incredible music that could revive the trend (which is doubtful). Even with something like The Fame, she didn't invent that trend, she hit it with great music right before it made it to mainstream and as such was able to ride it to enormous success.
