I admit that I can generally enjoy heavily auto tuned hip hop/trap music.  This is just flat out poop.  I would say garbage but you can rarely find some cool things in garbage.  Chris Brown is such a loser that he has to steal Travis Scott's unique sound but it comes off as diarrhea of the vocals.  Also, what happened to his dancing?  He used to be good at dancing but now he looks like a high schooler on molly at the local water park.  Chris Brown, an American embarrassment.

I actually don't think it's that bad. Yeah it's cliche but there are far worse similar sounding songs around right now and I like the beat. The video is another matter, though. This was like every victim of LA beauty standards showed up. What was the casting call for this video? "Must have breast implants?" But then again, women who have this kinda look are precisely the ones who would volunteer to be in a video like this. Where has women's self respect gone? To they think being nameless, swirling in a bikini, having a close up shot of you twerking and having your ass sprayed with water is going to get you looked at positively? That this is some kind of feminist expression? But what can you expect when women have struggled for chart success this year? Pretty depressing that some girls think this is all they can aspire to.

Of course not the worst. But I admit as a big CB listener that I am disappointed on this one, you can't even recognize his voice. And the beat isn't something special, so...

My friend has been in a video like this and she is still a successful, independent woman 🤷🏼‍♀️

She just wanted the check and to have some fun is all.

I'd put more blame on the artist than the women signing up for the auditions.

Sure, you can still be successful, independent woman and still do a video like this, but your actions don't line up with your achievements. Successful, independent women tend to think they're above things like this. I'm not successful or independent and I would never do this. I don't mean that in a snobbish way, I'm just pointing out how there's different ways of looking at things.

How is the artist who is the ultimate one to blame? While they are the ones coming up with these ideas, obviously, they won't be able to make them into reality if no women sign up for the roles. That will then send a strong message about how women want to, and should be viewed and treated. We can't stop the degradation of women if so many women are all too happy to play up to this role. We can't have it both ways - being sexually submissive in public but then are expected to be treated with respect. Men don't do this, why do women think they can? After all, if you present yourself as if you have no self respect, why do you expect anyone to treat other than the image you present of yourself? It blows my mind how so many people can't see the blatant double standard - if men don't feel the need to outrageously sexualise themselves, why should women?

Do you know why men don't have to sexualize themselves as much? Because they are respected without having to look nice.

Just look at how Hillary got criticized for her dress 🤷🏼‍♀️

To stop the degradation of women, MEN need to step up and speak out. Let's stop trying to bring women down.

Exactly. Women aren't afforded the same luxury and they should. And we're not going to get it if we conform to what men want us to do. Agreed, men need to step up and speak out...but so many don't because society is actively discouraging them from doing so. They don't know if it's the right thing to do because women might want to do that, that they'll get accused of wanting to stifle women's right to free expression or they don't want to be accused of "white knighting" or be called a p*ssy or a cuck or something. Peer pressure is a powerful thing. Nobody wants to be that guy who complains about something that everyone else is fine with. So, until we can begin changing the sexist attitudes many men have, women have to start speaking up more, saying no to degradation and defending themselves. It won't work if only 50% of the population speak up. This isn't about bringing women down. It's about the exact opposite. It's about telling them they deserve better and yet you're twisting it by saying I'm bringing women down. I don't know how you reached that conclusion.
