I thought they were surprisingly quite open-minded, especially towards her more conscious stuff. I think that one guy made a very good point when he said she makes smutty songs and then makes a song advocating for help for sexual assault victims and that she can't have it both ways. That's something that I feel isn't made clear enough in our society. If you want to be sexually progressive and want women to be safe, you can't simultaneously support a way of life where women are stereotyped, disrespected and abused. Because I don't want any woman to go through sexual assault, I also think it's imperative not to support a sexually explicit path that a lot of no-good men see and then get negative ideas about women and want to sexualise and abuse them.
